Educational priorities
While respecting local, national traditions and the innovations of modern society, Școala Gimnazială “Grigore Antipa” aims to instruct and educate its students in the spirit of fundamental human rights and freedoms, respect for democracy, for the environment, acting in favor of active citizenship and sustainable development, for intercultural exchanges. The school strives to provide all students with a quality education, facilitating the learning of foreign languages (French and English) and the use of digital technology.
A dynamic school
The school has extensive experience in areas such as the discovery of innovative learning practices, environmental protection and sustainable development, European cooperation through various projects, and the use of ICTE in learning and communication activities. For three consecutive years, the school has welcomed three language assistants, advised by the school’s three FLE teachers.
A committed school
The school has twice been awarded the “European Language Label” for innovation in language teaching, in 2005 and 2012, and 3 times the title of European School, in three consecutive editions: 2008, 2011, 2014 for the development of the European dimension in education. In 2007, the “Healthy existence in a healthy environment” project won 2nd prize in the Made for Europe European cooperation project competition. Since 2012, the school has also been awarded the “Green Flag” distinction and the ECO SCOALA title, confirmed every two years until now, for sustainable environmental education. The school is associated with UNESCO.
